Built in 1789, Beechwood House, as well as living accommodation, originally housed a tannery. This part of the house has been lovingly restored, and recently renovated, and now provides straightforward and comfortable accommodation, our lodge, which we are able to offer on a short term let basis.
Located in the mill town of Mossley, Beechwood House boasts stunning views of the moors across the valley, with some amazing sunrises, and on a good day, a view of Kinder Scout in the Peaks. Mossley itself is well served with a supermarket and shops selling local produce. It also has several lovely restaurants, bars, and local pubs, where everyone is welcome!
Our location is ideal for those who enjoy hiking and want to explore the beauty of Saddleworth Moor and its surrounding areas, it is equally ideal for those wanting to experience the city vibe of Manchester, a twenty-minute train ride away.
