Our Space
Thank you so much for visiting our website, and we really hope that you will decide to come and stay with use here at Beechwood House!
Our guests over the years have enjoyed many memories here, gorgeous sunrises, barbeques, hikes over the moors, wild swimming, days and nights out in Manchester, Mossley and Saddleworth and local events.
We have also provided a haven for guests who were in between homes, where they have stayed for many months, even years, becoming part of our family. We hope that you will feel at home with us, even if you will only be with us for a few nights.
Be sure to look at our digital welcome guidebooks, this provides details of some of our favourite places, as well as important details like our ‘rules of the road’, and the check out process, and other information to help your stay be as comfortable as possible.
Our Gallery provides an idea of our space at the Lodge, but it's even better to come and see in person! The lodge is a two storey building, and below is a summary of the accommodation.
Ground Floor
The private entrance leads to a small porch, with space to hang coats and store shoes/walking boots (have we mentioned the great hikes we have on our doorstep?). Next to the porch is a shower room and downstairs toilet. Towels are provided for your convenience.
The dining and kitchen area takes up the rest of the space downstairs, there is a dining table and a fully fitted kitchen. Should you need it, there is a washing machine for your sole use in the utility room.
The back door leads to the terrace, where there is garden furniture and a BBQ. It also gives access to the side of the garden, where there is a fire pit, Pizza Oven and more garden seating. The main garden, at the front of the house has further seating, and garden toys.
First Floor
Upstairs there is a studio living room/bedroom, with a smart TV. There is a sofa bed and a single floor mattress to accommodate any children. All bed linen is provided for your convenience. There is a separate dressing area, with fitted wardrobes and an additional toilet.
General
The Lodge is centrally heated, with ample radiators that you are welcome to adjust to suit your preference.
